Frozen Embryo Cycle

A frozen embryo cycle involves thawing an embryo from a previous fresh ivf cycle and transferring it back into the uterus.

Frozen embryo cycles can be undertaken in several different ways. The most common method allows women to ovulate naturally. This is called a natural Frozen Embryo Transfer, or FET cycle. In those instances where a woman needs extra help to ovulate, or to prepare her uterus to accept embryos, a Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) cycle can be undertaken. This may involve taking medication such as Clomiphene or Progynova.

Your Fertility Specialist will design a cycle to suit your individual needs and keep you informed every step of the way.
